Logistics Logistics Management CV - Dudley

The latest up-to-date CV for this Logistics Logistics Management, located in Dudley

Logistics Management Professional Summary

Having successfully completed my BSc Honours in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (1st Class), I’m looking to take my career to the next level.

In my years at the University of Derby I gained vast experience in managing teams, coordinating projects and taking part in academic and professional meetings. I also visited various sites either to conduct workplace development, internship, field visit or to gain knowledge on how I can apply my learning to the industry.

I was also very fortunate to assist my colleagues to settle into university and sit on the curriculum panel representing my cohort for 4 years. I was honoured to be the first President of the Zimbabwe Society and this started to engage more people from my background in the university activities.

I was honoured to represent the university in Hungary on the travel awards scheme, which I believe played a very big part in my team building and motivation skills. I am a much more organised individual for it.

My time in university complements my experience in the following areas:

1. Logistics and Supply Chain,
2. Project Management,
3. Road Haulage,
4. Team Building,
5.Team Management,
6. Leading,
7. Coordinating,
8. Training,
9. Project Planning,
10. Motivation,
11. Coaching,
12. Business Strategy & Development and a lot more.

I have learnt to adapt and transfer skills to where they are required by working in various roles alongside my studies. I have worked as a Door Supervisor (Security), managing and coordinating teams of up to 80 guards at large events. I have been involved in recruiting, selecting, training and deploying them as well as debriefing and remuneration, all of which are fundamental in managing teams.

I am now ready for the challenges of supply chains and logistics especially in these trying times of Covid-19 and Brexit uncertainty. I am looking to be part of the solution and would relish the opportunity to be engaged.

As some would say, the world is your oyster; I am prepared to take my skills and expertise wherever they are required in the world.
